How can I embed a video, a recording, an exercise or a link?
Edword allows you to create motivating and interactive comments by embedding videos, exercises, recordings or links. To enable this feature click on the → + under Add extra material when creating or editing a comment.
Embedding a video: Click on the → video icon and open the video settings. Give the video a name and paste the URL of the video.
The Edword team recommends using Youtube or Vimeo as students can directly play these videos in their feedback flow.
Adding a link: Click on the → link icon and paste the link URL. You can encourage your students to click on the link by writing a motivation in the “name field”. The link will open in a separate tab.
Making a recording: Click on the → recording icon and create a personal recording.
Embedding an exercise: Click on the → exercise icon, give the exercise a name and paste the URL of the exercise.
The Edword team recommends using H5P, an open source that allows teachers to create interactive and motivating exercises for their students. Students can see the embedded H5P quiz without leaving the feedback flow.
